02Scope and legal bases

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on Art. 6(1)(b) (contract or pre-contractual steps), (f) (legitimate interests) and, where we expressly ask for it, (a) (consent) GDPR.

03Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by green.ch AG (Schweiz). When you visit the website, technically necessary data is automatically recorded in server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system details, status code and amount of data transferred.

We process this data to deliver the website, to ensure its stable and secure operation and to defend against abuse. This is our legitimate interest. The hosting provider processes the data on our behalf.

04Contact form and email

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you give us: name, email address, optionally your company, the topic and plan you selected, your message and the language of the page. We use them to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or perform a contract.

The form is delivered through our email server at green.ch AG (Schweiz). Support enquiries go to support@magnetik.ch, all others to info@magnetik.ch. You also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the address you gave.

To protect against abuse, the form contains a hidden field and checks technical characteristics such as the time taken to submit and the frequency of requests. For this, the IP address is kept for at most one hour and only as an irreversible hash value.

We keep your enquiry for as long as needed to handle and follow it up and then delete it, unless statutory retention duties (for example for business correspondence) require longer retention.

05No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics, tracking or marketing services and does not embed third-party content. Fonts are delivered from our own server. That is why we do not need a cookie banner.

06Disclosure to third parties

We only pass personal data to service providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, email delivery and mailbox), and only as far as necessary. Further disclosure only takes place where we are legally obliged to do so.

07Transfers abroad

We host this website and run email delivery with green.ch AG (Schweiz), a Swiss provider. As part of this website we do not disclose personal data abroad. If you write to us from an email account with a foreign provider, however, your message may pass through that provider’s servers abroad.

08Data security

The website is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. For unencrypted emails, confidentiality in transit cannot be fully guaranteed.

09Your rights

Within the scope of the applicable law you have the following rights:

• Erasure or restriction of processing
• Release or transfer of your data in a common format
• Objection to processing and withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch), in the EU the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
